  2. Thank you, Mike. The wall paintings were shot in my former neighborhood in Long Island City, Queens, NY. It is only a couple blocks from PS1, an annex of the Museum of Modern Art which showcases emerging artists.
    I only had a roll of Tri-X in my camera when I drove into this neighborhood. I was wishing I had color film when I started shooting but the black and white lend to a different point of view which I thought worked better.
